A slow start trying to pass the ball well but a lot of fouls being committed and the referee not allowing the game to flow including a booking for Sean McCann. A great pass through by Danny into the path of James McGhee who finished well into the bottom corner but subsequently had to come off injured but shortly after New Stevenston equalised. A lot of pressing but no more goals before half time. After a motivational team talk from Jamie Matusavage. It didn't take long before a great play down the right with a cross from Martin and Danny Love finished with his weaker foot on the volley from a tight angle. More chances were created by McCann, Danny, Dean but took awhile for the 3rd to come great pass into Graeme Graeme Jed Cockburn from Martin Martin Clark who was driving down the left from who unleashed a shot inside the box to make it 3-1. Continual pressure after a pass into McCann by Gary Elliot, McCann rounded up a great days performance with a goal and a card!! New Stevenston got frustrated and lashed out causing them to go down to 10 after the referee sent him off. Gary Elliott was also adjudged to bizarrely pass back the ball to Jay Jeffrey who picked it up, only to be told it was a in-direct free-kick. Near the end Callum Colligan had a shot which rattled the bar and came back down on the line before being cleared. A slow start but much better in the second half, passed it well started to create more opportunities and defended better as a team. Some great performances by Danny, Dean Small and Cockburn.
