An unbeaten Tartan Team arrive at Ashley road ready for a tough battle against the usually strong physical Panthers Outfit.
Tartan didn't take long to get started when Gazza Vaughan (playing up front) burst through on
goal and was fouled by the Keeper resulting in a penalty. Sam smith calmly stepped up to convert and scores his
10th goal since pre season started. Not long after, Gazza V lobbed the keeper from out side the Box with a Smart/cool finish
putting tartan in a dominating position, Sam smith again involved providing a great flick for the assist.

James Bunyan made a great 1 on 1 save during the first half ensuring Wales Tartan did not give up their lead easily.

Wales Tartan lead 2 nil going into half time.

2nd half saw a different game, where tartan seem to take they foot of the
gas, allowing Panthers to gather momentum and play some nice football
but not really troubling the tartan keeper. Through out
the 2nd half, the manager made 3 changes, young bulldog back in the team on
for the hard working Nicky cooper, Young potter on For the Impressive Mark
Mansell, and Lee Jones on at the back for Lee fowler.

As the game went Wales Tartan picked up the pace and soon more goals followed.
A rare Gareth Morgan Goal was finely Finished From the edge of the
area after a well worked team passing move. An even rarer Morgan goal was then converted by Stu Moggs and Then the game was rounded of by
the goal of the game from Bulldog, a fine solo run and great finish
from outside the area. Another impressive display from David Martinsky
aka WHITE PELE, on the right wing for the Tartan after only Stepping up from
the 2nd team this season. Pot as solid as ever in the middle of the park (this is to be expected).

The clinical finishing of the tartan attack was also complimented with a Strong defensive display.
Long time tart Stu Morgan returning to his familiar left Back slot, taking the place of undoubtedly the outstanding player of
the season so far young Dan Jones AKA potter who was on the bench.
Great 1st game back in the team for Mark Mansell in the place of the absent Spike,
Lee fowler looking as strong as ever at the back making sure that tartan
kept a clean sheet. Sam Smith proving he can defend as well as attack when sitting in at centre half during the 2nd half and JB played too.....(he did ok)

Another Great team display .... with out-standing performances from all 14
men involved..
