A well deserved victory today with a very convincing win.
Two goals from Logan and Chaise respectively within the first 8 minutes set us off to a great start. Although they pulled one back against the run of play, we then scored two amazing goals through Muhammad, both overhead kicks from corners, both delivered by Rory.
At half time, we're now 4-1 up.
Five minutes into the second half and Muhammad got his, well deserved, hat-trick.
At 5-1 up, and in complete control of the game, I decided to be nice (was told by Chaise I'm too nice ??) and I took off all our strikers on 48 minutes.
We played with just Kath up front for 13 minutes, and Holmer Green were unable to take advantage of being able to play further up the field.
For the last 10 minutes, I decided to take off our three person defence and play further up the field, giving them more of a chance to get beyond up for another chance to get back in the game, whilst also giving us 10 minutes to score some more.
With a now weakened defence, they scored their 2nd on the 66th minute. Their joy was short lived as Logan got his 2nd two minutes later, and Nico finished the game off with basically the last kick of the game.
It was a game we could have won by more, but I'm happy with the sporting behaviour we displayed.
