The Turf FC faced a disappointing defeat at the Delves Lane Community Association Pitch on 31 August 2025, as they succumbed to a 4-1 loss against Burnhopefield Sun Inn in their league encounter.
The Turf FC lined up in a 4-1-2-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for attacking flair. Nick Dow took his place in goal, shielded by a back four comprising Brandon Fitzgerald on the right, Nathan Sterling on the left, with Jamie Tincknell and Lewis Sullivan forming the central defensive partnership.
