Cullen M and Jensen G operated as right and left defensive midfielders, respectively, tasked with both shielding the defence and supporting the attack. Kailen P played centrally in midfield, while Logan B and Luca F were positioned as right and left wingers, providing width and pace on the flanks. Jai S led the line as the striker, expected to convert chances into goals.

The substitutes for Tattenhoe Greens included Rishi S and Edy MG, who would later play pivotal roles in the match.

The first significant event occurred in the 20th minute when Tattenhoe made two tactical substitutions. Rishi S replaced Luca F, while Edy MG came on for Jai S. These changes aimed to inject fresh energy into the team as they sought to assert their dominance.

Just five minutes later, Kailen P opened the scoring with a stunning goal from outside the area in the 25th minute, sending a powerful shot that left the Shenley goalkeeper with no chance. This goal set the tone for Tattenhoe's attacking prowess.
