<p class="MsoNormal">Well, what can be said about this week’s performance? On a sunny morning STC travelled to Kidbrooke to play the Roan young vets side. The home side failed to provide a ref and having only a bare 11, Sheggs stepped up and agreed to take the whistle. So a poor showing from the home side which was to be compounded by the poor quality of the sandwiches provided after, Tesco own label bread is for wildlife not hungry players looking to soak up the alcohol.
<p class="MsoNormal">Anyway, STC lined up with a bare 11 now, with Sheggs reffing, after Bilbo no showed in the morning by text. I think he was simply RUNNING scared of Hookeys abuse after another Charlton defeat.
<p class="MsoNormal">But I digress, but will keep this short as not much can be said other than abject, poor, lack of effort, inability to pass to each other, I could go on. Roberts summed it up when he relived Sheggs of ref duties with 10 minutes left, and I quote ‘’You’re all a bunch of useless cunts’’, well that was after the 6th one went in from a toe poke.
<p class="MsoNormal">STC actually started the stronger, but found themselves 2 down before 20 minutes. Crabby pulled one back for STC but went into half time 3-1 down. The difference, Roan took their chances and STC did not.
<p class="MsoNormal">The second half was a complete non-starter for STC, who rolled over with no fight and were royally shagged up the Jacksy and put to the sword. No one singled out, it was a collective poor performance, that Baldy’s dog was a leading candidate for Man of the match says it all.
<p class="MsoNormal">So a 7-1 defeat, shocking lads, shocking. No width, no tempo, no passing, no talking, nothing. I’m only gonna mention a few things, Scotts little Cruyff flick, Baldies Own goal, Crabbies 15 shots, Gav’s miss from a yard out and to quote Sheggs from WhatsApp ‘’Lee, do you remember calling for the ball to feet and then HOOFING it 90 foot straight up in the air…. Joker’’
