South Tyneside Allstars FC 5 vs 0 Bowburn Youth FC

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">A magnificent performance from everyone on the park today.&nbsp; Bowburn couldn&rsquo;t really compete with our passing and movement.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Toby, Ewan and Jack were solid at the back, offering an outlet to Joe who pulled the strings in middle of the park spraying the ball wide to the wings. &nbsp;Harvey on the left and Zak on the right ran the wings making great runs and putting in some great crosses. &nbsp;Luke terrorised their defence by not giving them a second on the ball and broke up their play before they got started.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The first goal came from some great link up play between Joe and Harvey.&nbsp; Joe crossed the ball into the box leading to a goal mouth scramble.&nbsp; Luke&rsquo;s persistence paid off and he scored from close range.&nbsp; The second was very similar, a cross into the box from Joe and another close range finish from Luke.&nbsp; Luke almost completed his hatrick in the first half only to be beaten by the post.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Jay came on for the second half for Jack.&nbsp; Jay took up the central midfield role and Joe dropped to centre back. &nbsp;Harvey and Zak swapped wings.&nbsp; We again dominated the possession.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Harvey got the first goal of the second half.&nbsp; After a great team move the ball fell to Harvey in the box who finished well with a low drive into the bottom corner. &nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Jack came back on to replace Luke upfront to give him a breather.&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">It was a another spell on great possession that lead to the fourth goal.&nbsp; Jay passed the ball back to Ewan after there was no available options upfront. &nbsp;Ewan squared the ball to Joe who cut the defence in half with a great long diagonal ball to Harvey who had made a run down the right wing. &nbsp;Harvey then hit a great strike which forced their keeper to parry. &nbsp;Joe who had followed up his pass was on hand to tap in the rebound.&nbsp; &nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Luke game back on with 5 minutes to go and came close to completing his first hatrick of the season but it wasn&rsquo;t to be.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The fifth goal came from Joe again. &nbsp;He hit another long diagonal cross intended for Harvey who was making his run into the box. &nbsp;However this time the ball flew straight over the keepers head into the top corner. &nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The best team performance so far and the season has only just begun.&nbsp; Well done boys
