RIT Dubai faced off against HCT Dubai in a friendly away match at the Shabab Al Ahli - Al Arabi Club on 22 September 2025, kicking off at 8:30pm. The 75-minute encounter, officiated impeccably by referee Sam Griffiths, ended in a resounding 9-0 triumph for RIT Dubai.

RIT Dubai lined up in a 3-5-2 formation, deploying three defenders at the back with Artemii Graf on the right, Mohsin Ayaz centrally, and Aws Dashash on the left. The midfield was packed with five players: Artur Farhutdinov operated on the right flank, Mohamed Saif, Mohamed Hazza, and Mohamed Haitam Yousfi occupied central midfield roles, while Mohammad AlSayyed took up the left midfield position. Up front, Saeed Alhashemi and Hazza Yateem led the attack as right and left forwards respectively. This setup was designed to provide defensive solidity through the back three while allowing wing-backs and midfielders to dominate possession and supply the forwards. The substitutes available were Samir Keshk, Mohamed Boudrai, Masoud Barahoey, Mohamed Albawab, Nariman Samani, Omar Remawi, Abdulla Alblooshi, Armaan Shafique, Khalifa Albedwawi, Smyan Aggarwal, Abdelhamid Darweesh, and Hussam Alazzah.

The match burst into life early on as RIT Dubai took the lead in the 8th minute. A corner delivered by Artur Farhutdinov found central defender Mohsin Ayaz, who rose highest to power a close-range header into the net. This early goal set the tone for a dominant display.

Shortly after, the first wave of substitutions began with Samir Keshk replacing Saeed Alhashemi and Mohamed Boudrai coming on for Mohammad AlSayyed in the 18th minute. RIT Dubai’s attacking momentum continued as Hazza Yateem doubled the lead, slotting home inside the box from a neat short pass by Farhutdinov.

Just two minutes later, Mohamed Boudrai made an immediate impact by tapping in a close-range finish with his right foot, assisted by Samir Keshk’s short pass. The floodgates opened further when Masoud Barahoey, introduced in the 21st minute for Hazza Yateem, capitalised on a defensive error to score with his right foot in the 22nd minute.

The substitutions kept coming as Mohamed Albawab replaced Artemii Graf and Nariman Samani took over from Mohamed Saif in the 23rd minute. Omar Remawi then entered the fray for Artur Farhutdinov two minutes later, followed by Abdulla Alblooshi coming on for Aws Dashash in the 28th minute.

The first half concluded at 37.5 minutes with RIT Dubai firmly in control. However, the changes did not stop there. At the 40th minute mark, Khalifa Albedwawi replaced Mohamed Albawab due to injury, Armaan Shafique came on for Mohamed Hazza, Artemii Graf returned to the field in place of Mohsin Ayaz, and Smyan Aggarwal took over from goalkeeper Omar Taalab.

The second half began with further substitutions at the interval. Hussam Alazzah replaced Mohamed Boudrai, Mohammad AlSayyed returned for Mohamed Haitam Yousfi, and Abdelhamid Darweesh came on for Samir Keshk.

RIT Dubai’s scoring continued unabated as Masoud Barahoey headed home a close-range corner from Nariman Samani in the 47th minute. The visitors extended their lead with a penalty converted by Hazza Yateem in the 54th minute, who confidently struck with his right foot.

Immediately after, Hazza Yateem was substituted off for Masoud Barahoey, and Mohamed Hazza replaced Nariman Samani. The goals kept coming as Hazza Yateem returned to the pitch in the 54th minute and scored again in the 57th minute, this time finishing inside the box with a right-footed strike following a long pass from Nariman Samani.

In the 61st minute, Yateem completed his hat-trick with a right-footed volley from a cross by Omar Remawi. Shortly after, Saeed Alhashemi re-entered the game for Hazza Yateem, and Artur Farhutdinov replaced Omar Remawi in the 62nd minute. Mohamed Boudrai also came back on for Abdulla Alblooshi, while Aws Dashash returned for Artemii Graf in the 63rd minute.

The scoring spree continued as Abdelhamid Darweesh netted a close-range right-footed finish inside the box in the 64th minute, assisted by Mohamed Boudrai’s cross. Further substitutions saw Mohamed Saif return for Armaan Shafique in the 66th minute and Mohamed Haitam Yousfi replace Mohammad AlSayyed in the 69th minute.

Throughout the match, RIT Dubai’s fluid attacking play and clinical finishing overwhelmed HCT Dubai, who were unable to respond. The defensive trio and midfield engine room controlled the game superbly, while the forwards capitalised on every opportunity.

Hazza Yateem was deservedly named Player of the Match for his outstanding contribution, scoring four goals including a penalty and a volley, and consistently threatening the opposition defence.

RIT Dubai’s emphatic 9-0 victory at Shabab Al Ahli - Al Arabi Club showcased their attacking prowess and tactical discipline in a thoroughly commanding performance.
