Pooya Nikan welcomed Kheybar to their home ground on 22 January 2026 for a friendly 11-a-side match, kicking off at 2:00pm. The hosts produced a commanding performance to secure a resounding 6-1 win over their visitors after 90 minutes of football plus added time.

Pooya Nikan lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, deploying a solid defensive unit with Ehsan Ehsan in goal. The back four consisted of Amir Hoseyn Hasan Por at right back, Amir Hossein Nabati and Amir Ali Varasteh as central defenders, and Amir Mahdi Maleki covering the left flank. In midfield, the double pivot featured Sina Mohamadi and Armin Moradi, tasked with both defensive duties and linking play. Ahead of them, the attacking trio comprised Ali Eyni on the right wing, Amir Mahdi Hemati in the central attacking midfield role, and Hesam Ebadi on the left. Leading the line was striker Amir Ali Bahodori, expected to spearhead the attack and convert chances.

The bench included Ramtin Mehraban, Mohamad Mehdi Bayat, Mahdi Mosavi, Sadra Gelich, Kasra Gelich, and Alireza Khani, providing tactical options throughout the match.

The game burst into life with Pooya Nikan asserting early dominance. In the 18th minute, Armin Moradi opened the scoring, expertly finishing after a precise assist from Amir Mahdi Hemati. Ten minutes later, Hemati again provided the creative spark, delivering a short pass to Ali Eyni who doubled the lead with a composed finish. The hosts continued to press and in the 37th minute, Ali Eyni turned provider, setting up Amir Ali Bahodori to make it 3-0.

Just before half-time, Moradi struck once more, this time assisted by Bahodori, to extend the advantage to 4-0. At the interval, Pooya Nikan’s tactical superiority was clear, with fluid attacking play and a disciplined defensive shape.

The break saw two tactical substitutions for Pooya Nikan as Ramtin Mehraban replaced the tiring Bahodori up front, and Mohamad Mehdi Bayat came on for Sina Mohamadi in midfield, aiming to maintain the team’s intensity.

The second half began with Pooya Nikan continuing to dominate possession and chances. In the 64th minute, Amir Mahdi Hemati got on the scoresheet himself, adding a fifth goal to the tally with a well-taken strike. Shortly after, Mahdi Mosavi was introduced for Armin Moradi to freshen the midfield.

Kheybar managed to pull a goal back in the 73rd minute, halting Pooya Nikan’s clean sheet bid and injecting some hope for the visitors. However, Pooya Nikan responded with further tactical changes, bringing on Sadra Gelich for Amir Hoseyn Hasan Por and Kasra Gelich for Ali Eyni to maintain attacking impetus.

In the 80th minute, Alireza Khani replaced left back Amir Mahdi Maleki, shoring up the defence as the game neared its conclusion. Just two minutes later, Kasra Gelich rewarded the faith shown in him by scoring Pooya Nikan’s sixth goal, assisted once again by the creative Hemati.

The final whistle confirmed a dominant 6-1 victory for Pooya Nikan, a result that showcased their attacking prowess and tactical flexibility. The team’s ability to rotate players without losing momentum was evident, while Hemati’s influence in both goals and assists was pivotal throughout the match.
