Boots Wednesday 1 vs 2 Plumtree

I wouldn't call it a luxury but Plumtree were able to name pretty much&nbsp;an unchanged side from their previous weeks win.&nbsp; 11 players were all we had available, playing a side who had won all their games to date, we knew we were going to have to be on top of our game.&nbsp; Kick off was delayed, Martin responsible for bringing Ryan is obviously enjoying his final Saturday nights of freedom before he's back from injury!!&nbsp; This gave the team chance to get their heads on the game and rev each other up. &nbsp; The game started out pretty evenly, with Plumtree getting to grips with the height of the opposition.&nbsp; It didn't take long before midfield and defensive headers were all being won and we started to get the ball down and play some football.&nbsp; Boots Wednesday did create some chances running through on goal but were unable to hit the target.&nbsp; We started to carve out our own chances with inform Omar going close once again and a few long range efforts going wide. &nbsp; At half time we knew we could go on and win the game and apart from a 5 min blip at the start of the second half, we pretty much dominated.&nbsp; Omar was a real handful all day, Boots defenders not knowing how to handle him.&nbsp; At times we looked great passing the ball round well with one and two touches, great work from the wingers, strong in defence and Matt and Duncan forming a strong midfield partnership.&nbsp; This all paid off when good work from Ryan put the ball into Omar 6 yards out, who took two touches, turned&nbsp;the defender and buried it the bottom corner.&nbsp; A well deserved goal all round.&nbsp; In fairness to Boots they put up a fight all day, not afraid to mix it up in the tackle, and their striker latched onto a through ball and buried it in the back of the net, leaving Roscoe helpless! &nbsp; This only spurred Plumtree onto victory and when once again another good move and excellent work from Jonny Rowe created another corner. &nbsp;Jonny stepped up to deliver a beautiful cross in, and who should be leaping like a salmon but Mr Leigh Godfrey.&nbsp; Latching on to a powerful header and beating the keeper, victory was confirmed.&nbsp; We were able to keep things tight, limiting Boots to only a few chances for another well earned win. &nbsp; <p>Man of the match was Omar again, now on his way to being one of the leagues top goal scorers with 5 in 3 games. <p>Match Report by Matt Court
