A tie is better than a loss:

As another game comes to an end, NHCC United comes up with a tie. What a game it was, it looked like NHCC United was going to take it, but Rojos came back from behind to tie it up at the end.

With seconds left on the clock, the score was 5-4 with NHCC United leading, due to a defensive mistake, Rojos where able to score a last minute goal and tie it up. If NHCC United keeps up this great team work and dedication to one another, there is no telling how far they can make it into the season. Possibly even a spot on the finals. We will just have to wait and see. Great team work guys, bring that same intensity to the next game and you will have great results.

With the loss of one good player #15-Cherno Jome, came an addition to the team, #4-Yohanes Tikuye which contributed with one of the crucial goals needed during the game, he pressured the goalie and made him loose the ball, causing the goalie to panic, he kept pushing forward and added one to the score, with an addition like him, it looks like NHCC United will have a strong second half of the season. We will miss you CJ.

He Plays Goalie also?

On the second half of the game, Goal keeper #0 Obed Ontiri got injured, pulling his thumb back as he made a great save, being temporality injured, someone had to take his spot, #11-Derrick Greaves was their back up goalie but he was playing great on the pitch, so #9-Fredy Padilla decided to take over his position. A couple minutes into the game after taking over the keeper position, defender #6-Olagoke Afolabi extended his arm to try to stop a shoot from going into the net, not knowing that the keeper was right behind him and could of saved it, it was called a hand ball inside the box, therefore making it a penalty kick. #9-Fredy Padilla got ready for the shoot and out of nowhere, came up with a big save, showing the rest of the team that he is an all-around player and capable of playing any position on the field. Apart from playing goalie, he also scored 2 crucial goals that kept NHCC United on board Vs. the Rojos.

This shows that everyone needs to play their roll on the pitch, and if everyone does their job, the outcome could be better than a tie. It’s time to put more W's in the first column. Next match should be a great one.
