<p>game with second place Glenravel.

<p>the opening parts of the game glenravel threatened

<p>newpark with a chance for only gary heaney to save.

<p>Glenravel then got themselves a few corners and newpark

<p>responded well defensively.

<p>Newpark then grabbed a goal against the run of play from

<p>a victor gibson free kick for marky freeburn to flick on

<p>past the glenravel keeper. newpark then began getting into

<p>there groove when gary brown went on a maisy run for only

<p>the ball to hit the post. Newpark then threatened again when

<p>gary brown squared the ball back for mark freeburn and only for

<p>glenravel keeper newpark could have doubled their lead.

<p>Second half started very scrappy with most of the play coming

<p>in the middle of the park, the second half was very quiet

<p>until towards the end of the game when glenravel had a chance

<p>in the dying minutes only for gary heaney to save.
