Mathare United Women Triumph Over MTG United In League Clash

Mathare United Women FC welcomed MTG United to the MYSA Headquarters on 1 February 2025 for a league encounter that saw the home side secure a convincing 2-0 victory. With a kick-off time set for 1:00pm, the match unfolded in front of a modest crowd of 150 supporters, who witnessed a display of skill and determination from the Mathare United Women.

Mathare United lined up in a 4-4-1-1 formation, which allowed for a solid defensive structure while enabling quick transitions into attack. Olive Otwaro took her place in goal, shielded by a back four consisting of Dora Achieng on the right, Marline Atieno on the left, with Brenda Atieno and Clare Meris forming the central defensive partnership.
