The Hayden Panthers U15 welcomed Junior Reds Valiants to Loring Hall Sports Ground on 7 December 2025 for a league home match kicking off at 12:00pm. The Panthers delivered a commanding performance to secure a 5-0 victory in an 80-minute contest, leaving their visitors unable to respond.
Deploying a 4-5-1 formation, Hayden Panthers set up with Louie Ford guarding the goal, flanked by Sid Hale at right back and Tyler Cracknell on the left, with central defensive duties shared by Josh Jolly and Reiley Webb. The midfield quintet featured Archie Bristo on the right wing, Alfie Severn’s on the left, and a central trio of Aston Hawgood, Darcey Illing, and Sid Reed, providing both defensive cover and attacking impetus. Up front, Ollie Challis led the line as the lone striker, tasked with converting chances created by the midfield. No substitutes were named for this fixture.
From the outset, Hayden Panthers asserted their dominance, with Archie Bristo proving pivotal on the right flank. In the 7th minute, Bristo delivered a precise assist to Darcey Illing, who found the net to give the hosts an early lead. Just four minutes later, Bristo was again the architect, setting up Ollie Challis to double the advantage and send the home crowd into raptures.
The Panthers’ defence, marshalled by Josh Jolly and Reiley Webb, remained resolute, allowing the midfield to control possession and dictate the tempo. Their efforts bore fruit in the 18th minute when Jolly ventured forward to assist Aston Hawgood, who calmly finished to extend the lead to 3-0. The first half concluded with Hayden Panthers firmly in command at 3-0.
Immediately after the break, the Panthers continued to press, and on the stroke of half-time at 45 minutes, Sid Reed’s incisive pass found Alfie Severn’s on the left, who slotted home to make it 4-0. The Junior Reds Valiants struggled to mount any meaningful attacks, consistently thwarted by the well-organised Panthers backline and midfield.
The final goal came midway through the second half as Archie Bristo once again demonstrated his creative prowess, assisting Ollie Challis for his second goal of the afternoon in the 65th minute. Challis’s clinical finishing earned him the well-deserved Player of the Match accolade.
Throughout the match, the Hayden Panthers displayed excellent teamwork and tactical discipline, with their 4-5-1 formation allowing them to dominate both in midfield and defence while providing ample service to their striker. The Junior Reds Valiants were left chasing shadows as the Panthers ran out comfortable 5-0 winners on home soil.
