<p>A December Saturday afternoon in Hong Kong, approximately 19 Degrees C: Perfect<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />weather for some football. After a string of some inconsistent football over<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />the previous few weeks, the Fellas were ready to come out and play some<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />organized and structured football full of non-stop attacking action.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Our Opponents: Rev.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Line Up:<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /> Phil (in Goal)<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Jason Ikes David Garrow<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Henry L Howie Cedric Spencer<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /> Kai Justin<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />The fellas came out playing excellent football. The string of passes constructed<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />between the center mids, wings, wing backs and forwards were impeccable.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Within the first 15 minutes, the fellas had there first excellent oppurtunity.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />After receiving a penetrating pass (from Howie) through the opposing midfield,<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Cresser made an excellent run towards the 18. With him he brought 2 of the<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />center backs leaving Kaiman Chan completely open. With a beautiful thru ball<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />from Cresser, Kaiman had a clear shot on goal from the edge of the 18, but shot<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />just a couple inches over the crossbar.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Play continued throughout the first half with action similar to the above<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />mentioned oppurtunity with the fellas dominating play in the midfield and on<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />the wings and in the back. Of note, Philip had an excellent game in goal<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />completely cutting out all long balls played over the back four which was the<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />only offensive strategy that the opponents could muster. Also of note was<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Spencer who had a good physical game after finally deciding to play like a man.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" /><br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Halftime. Bear on for Ikes, Jason in Right mid for Henry Leung, Seb on in right<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />back.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Play continued as before with Cedric and Howie linking up well with Jason Li on<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />the right and Spencer on the left. Finally Cresser made a run towards the<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />middle and being the offensive threat that he is, brought with him the 2<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />central defenders. Howie, with his great footbal awareness, sent an excellent<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />chip to Seb on the right whom crossed with utmost ease and perfection to be<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />flicked on by Li with Cedric having a clinical finishing.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />The game was far from over however, and if not for the excellent heading and<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />clearing ability of the back four and the excellent ball catching skills of<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />Phil, the fellas may have succumbed to pressure piled on by the opponents in an<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />attempt to even the game. However, the fellas held on and also managed to muster<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />some great counter attacking plays with Li on the right and Spencer on the left<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />having going up the flanks non-stop.<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />With 10 minutes to go, peps came on for Kai and the fellas saw out the game<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />after having played hard and efficient although being unable to finish for the<br style="line-height: 1.2em; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; outline-color: initial;" />most part.
