<p>Venue: Sele School, Hertford

<p>First Half

<p>The Gremlins faced&nbsp;Bengeo Tigers FC for there&nbsp;first win in 3 games this&nbsp; pre-season.

<p>The game started off poorly for the Gremlins and before anyone knew it, the Tigers were up 1-0.

<p>Early efforts from Kris Kane and Darren Rebeiro saw the keeper catching every ball, or it going past his post everytime.

<p>After a few gremlins attacks that quickly broke down it was soon 2-0 to the Tigers which made the gremlins heads drop, but they still perceveered for the first goal.

<p>Many attempts by new signing Darren Rebeiro saw the keeper save atleast 3 efforts in the same shot, before having a hatful more chances before the break, to sum it up, none of them were going in and it looked like one of those days for him.

<p>After many more attempts and tackles the first goal was&nbsp;scored by&nbsp;James Greenwood for the gremlins who tapped in a&nbsp;Darren Rebeiro&nbsp;pass across the box, which then&nbsp;got the Gremlins heads back into the game.

<p>The Tigers then hit back with a well deserved solo goal by the striker.

<p>3-1 and the teams kept going.

<p>It was coming close to the half time break and the gremlins got the second goal from a well worked team effort where the ball was passed to Mark Humphry who went on a brilliant run down the wing, run into the box and passed the ball to Andrew Williams man of the match second week running who gently tucked it into the back of the net.

<p>Second Half

<p>Going into the second half saw new signings O'neill and Bartlett come on to make an instant impact on the game.

<p>The gremlins worked hard for the first 15 minutes after the break and another great team effort where

<p>the ball was at Cristian O' Neills feet who quickly passed the ball to Daniel Surridge, who cut the ball

<p>back and passed to Andrew Williams who smashed it through the wall of players and into the net to

<p>make it equal.

<p>3-3 and the pressure was on.

<p>&nbsp;

<p>The gremlins now had a fast winger O' Neill down the left hand side and a fast attacking striker to support the one man upfront Rebeiro, which Bartlett added to the strength upfront.

<p>Speed&nbsp;and tempo was introduced&nbsp;to the game where a great ball from Bartlett who dropped back in midfield to chip the ball over the defence to Rebeiro Who made contact sweetly to lob the defender and Goalkeeper, his&nbsp;previous manager of 6 years with his back to the goal.

<p>4-3&nbsp;and the Gremlins were ahead.

<p>O' neill added fast pace down the left wing, getting past the defender&nbsp;every time to get accurate crosses into the box, and on the second attack the ball was passed from Andrew Williams to Bobby Bartlett who cut the ball back&nbsp;25 yards out and hit a screamer into the top left corner of the net. Definitely a contender for the goal of the season..Ooops I meant the month! :)

<p>5-3 and the&nbsp;Gremlins were sailing. The Tigers heads&nbsp;had all dropped by now and every pass seemed to turn into an attack.&nbsp;&nbsp;

<p>The last attack of the game came from a well worked team effort where a corner dropped to Mark Humphry who after many attempts from Bailey, was finally smashed into the net by Humphry who sealed the game for the win.

<p>6-3 and the gremlins who after the changes at half time looked very solid at the back for the first time this season.

<p>Overall a well deserved win for the Gremlins who needed the first win under there belts going into there next game on sunday 4th September.
