Disappointing Day At Wadhurst

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">A disappointing morning for our fans on the side lines on Sunday.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">We made a positive start and had most of the possession, but Wadhurst held firm and we didn&rsquo;t really have any clear cut chances.&nbsp; All the play was in the Wadhurst half and they were hitting us on the break.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">&nbsp;

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Their first was a lucky goal as it came off the goal scorer&rsquo;s shin pad and dropped into the net above JT.&nbsp; Not the end of the world, as we were a strong enough team to come back into the game.&nbsp; Wadhurst&rsquo;s forwards were quick but the defence particularly Joe and Willem had them under control for most of the match.&nbsp; There seconds resulted from a nice through ball, perhaps either our defence or Jamie could have got to it first, but the snappy Wadhurst player was first to it and finished well.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Rory had a great game in the middle and has been pretty consistent so far this season, George was lively and energetic coming on for the last 20/25 minutes, Bradley worked his socks off, all our players contributed.&nbsp; Why then we all ask ourselves did we end up losing 2-0?

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">Maybe just an off day, as we all have them.&nbsp; We have had our fair share of off days and usually it&rsquo;s as a result of not doing the simple things right.&nbsp; As Andy mentioned, it breaks down when we don&rsquo;t work as a team.&nbsp; That is both when you have and do not have the ball.&nbsp; We have a way we want you to play - pass and move and we want you to stick to it for the whole 70 minutes and not panic.&nbsp;
