Crawley Panthers under 14’s Blue sponsored by S&N Tyres travelled to Hassocks for this Sussex County cup game still on a high from last weeks opening day win. Only his time, Panthers took control right from the start and opened their account within two minutes with Jake Truelove firing home.

Further first half goals from new signing Seika Jatta from the penalty spot and Jermaine Beer gave the blues a comfortable lead without ever being troubled by the home team.

No one was to predict what was to happen in the second half as Panthers hit 13 goals inside 34 minutes. Jermaine Beer added another five to his tally, Seika Jatta notched his second, Jobe Wolfe, Edwin Murahwa and Jordan L’etendrine with a brace each, and man of the match and captain Brendan Milborrow getting his first of the season.

In all the excitement of scoring 16 goals, praise must be given to the midfield paring of Jean Moutein, Adam Ceschin and the solid defence of Ben Rogers, Sam Truelove, Jake Truelove and Will Bateup who kept the home team a bay allowing keeper Robbie Legg just four touches all game.
