BoC F.C. 1 vs 3 Reay's Your Glasses

After 5 ½ years in Noo Yawk the crowds were expected to be a whoopin’ & hollerin’ along the streets of Battersea for Intertoto’s return for the Thursday night Soccerball game.  However, nobody told the locals and even 10 man BoC bolstered by 4 ringers failed to show up in force.  3-1 against a strong Reay’s team was a great result & everyone stuck to their positions in a disciplined performance, special mention to Charlie & Andy in the defence & the great first touch of Hanning on the wing.

Sporadic attempts by us & a few good saves by Jack in goal kept it scoreless for a while before 3 goals in about 5 minutes hammered us – the third of which was an absolute beauty mind.  Thereafter the longest ever run up to a corner (behind the fence to retrieve the ball & then across the 2 pitches) saw Intertoto swing over a cross for Zamora to nod in at the back stick for a consolation.
