Started ok. Cesar fizzed in an excellent low cross, but we couldn’t convert it.
Let in a poor one. Throw in evaded the entire defence and my marker gave me the slip and slammed it in. No chance for Tyson.
Tyson made a good save shortly after, pushing out a header from a corner.
After that, we grew into the game a bit more. Lots of good build up play, but often the final pass was going astray. We missed some chances, which mostly seemed to go straight at the keeper. There tall old defender was in the right place at the right time a lot.
But eventually we got an excellent solo effort equaliser from Paul. When Chris flicked it on, Paul looked like he had no chance to even reach the ball, but he sprinted, overtook the defender, won the ball, dribbled across goal, beat a lunge from the keeper and steered it into the bottom of the net. Tremendous effort.
Not a full strength Harretons but they were on top form owing the dark arts tonight. Fouling and disputing decisions.
A draw was fair.
