Charlie's Show

One match down and the BoC injury crisis seems to have returned as we were forced to field our first ringer of the season.

This was the sort of night where Charlie should had bought a lottery ticket and was surely getting the eye from all the girls on his way home. Two goals and an assist means he was a very easy pick for MotM, although honourable mentions should go to Paul for running through brick walls and Stefano for being a brick wall in defence.

Ringer Duayne (who was a little bit of a dead ringer for ex-BoC legend Wayne) poked us in front early on from a Charlie through ball.

Harretons level with a lob from the inside right channel. Charlie then scored 2 very decent finishes either side of a smart move through the middle from the ex-public school boys.

Towards the end Harretons perhaps got the draw their efforts deserved when Tyson just couldn't do more than divert a strong shot onto the post and in.

Respectable result I think against a strong Harretons team and there were a few sore legs afterwards as we had had to work hard.

Good clubman work by Chris bringing a keg of real ale and we had a nice beer in the park like a bunch of teenagers (which Stefano actually is - happy 18th to Stefano for last week).
