Blizzard Of Goals In The Sleet

<p>It was men vs boys as BOC hammered GLA on a bitterly cold, windy, sleet soaked night at the Battersea <b>all weather astrodome. I think they only had ten vs our full complement, but that shouldn't detract from what was a very competent BOC display. Goals were flying in from early on, with Tom getting the opener. He feinted and jinked past a couple to create some space in the box and smashed a left footed drive into the right corner. Goals then came from Gareth, Rich and Gareth again with assists from Rich, Gareth and Sheedy. These were all GAGYPs, simple finishes from simple moves (i.e. I can't really remember them). I think it was 4 - 0 at HT. In the second half, Stu mixed things up a bit with Jackson flash moving up top, Stu moving to RM, Tom to LB. Chris scored from a Stu cross, followed quickly by Stu nabbing the first of his three goals; he was played in by Zamora and galloped gamely after it to clot home right footed from about 12 yards. Gareth got his third from an outrageous distance, catching the keeper unawares with a 25 yd shot following a lay off by Zamora. Stu then scored two in quick succession, one a tap in right footed, the other a tap in using the unconventional flying knee. &nbsp;Conor McGregor and Sagat eat your heart out. We played for ages (90 mins) and the last 10 or so felt like going through the motions, with both teams really plodding and a vast chasm in the centre of the pitch. Gareth bagged his fourth at the death, Sheedy prodding it to him on the edge of the box to find the bottom corner right footed.</b><p><b>Unbeaten in 2017, averaging 7.5 goals for per game.
