One of the ringers Michael was running a bit late, so we waited for him to quickly get changed on the sidelines.
He put his black shirt on.
He took his black shirt off.
He put his white shirt on.
He took his white shirt off.
Don’t mind us, Michael. We have got all day.

No, really, take your time.
He took a long drink of water.
He put the cap back on the water bottle.
He *finally* decided that his kit was adequate and he was properly hydrated, so we could start the game.
Very tight game, lots of tackles flying in. I think by Premier League rules we could have had 3 red cards (Hoof, Conrad, Andy), but they were going in hard too. Cesar took a bit of a bash in the ribs and had to sit out the last 10 minutes or so. Hope you are ok today, Cesar.
They had chances, Tys with a good double save at one point, but so did we, their keeper tipping over a lob from Ilyas, I think.
It was looking like 0-0, but Andy had stepped into a CDM role when Cesar went off and we saw a bit of possession end when Michael, who had grown into the game, swept in a Paul cross.
The oppo still had time to break our lines, but an onrushing Tys put the striker off enough that he screwed it wide. Tys also pushed out a free kick and we held on for the win and a rare clean sheet.
