Lined up on a rainy Battersea evening with 4 ringers and a slightly patched together side. But you wouldn't know it, as we carried on the relatively good recent form. The ringers were in truth very useful, particularly Joe & Tom in defence and Manuel (aka Topknot) on the left wing.
Cesar had a few early chances for the oppo, but found Tyson impassable.
Manuel went on a great run, cut in and hammered home, 1-0. The same player added a second, before Chris slammed in for 3-0 at the break.
The oppo pulled one back, but we proceed to then add goals from Danny, Manuel again (completing his hattrick) and defender-turned-striker Rob.
It didn't really feel like a 6-1 game, but we will happily take it. Well done to the oppo for turning up on a fairly filthy night.
MotM - shared between dog-of-war Tom and a back to form Latch.
Christmas tunes in the Latchmere made the slightly sparse BoC turnout happy, as did bumping into Nelson on the way home.
