Punter is back - and up to his old tricks of claiming *all* the assists.
Bryden Wood turned up a few short and we managed to get a game on, albeit with a few ringers on their team + Paul, which was very nice of us. No sign of George, but hear he has a broken toe, so get well soon George and see you soon.
It was an atypical BoC start. Rather than concede immediately we actually peppered our opponents goal with shots and should have been probably 2 or 3 up, before we reverted to type and conceded, a shot in the area squirming under Tys.
We couldn't get immediately back into it and it was 0-1 at the break.
Sightly iffy penalty claim, but it was ruled just outside the area and fortunately they wasted the free-kick.
Stu took a ball in the conk and had to go off, bravely returning with tissues stuck up his nose. In the meantime though, we had somehow equalised. Under pressure at a corner, Punt cleared with the outside of his boot. A lot left to do do at that point, but Charlie ran half the length of the pitch and absolutely smashed it into the corner of the goal. Belting finish and slightly against the run of play at that point too, but 1-1.
Ball to the back stick and their winger unmarked to finish, 1-2. Similar goal but opposite side, they somehow scrambled home for 1-3 and we were looking like we were in a bit of trouble.
Charlie got us back in it though, after the ball bounced of Puntah's shins (and he still claimed it as an assist), 2-3.
Still, just about time for James/Hoof Jnr to race onto a Puntah nutmeg assist (through Paul's legs I think) and finish neatly in the bottom corner and 3-3 it finished.
No showers, but great opportunity for resident pervs Tom and Stu to get a shower in the women's changing room and even though they loitered around for ages afterwards no sign of the hockey players and they had to admit defeat and come to the pub.
Charlie a bit upset to see Liverpool concede 3 at home to Atalanta, but hopefully slightly cheered by his man of the match award. His first goal really was a beauty.
Paul - full game for the oppo.
