Sweltering

10v10 on a sweltering night at Battersea, as BGC turned up with 8, but we bailed them out by lending them Josh and Ollie from Fosters.

Andy was raging as he was shoulder barged into this kind of dangerous looking broken 5-a-side goal early doors. He channeled that rage well and got (mostly) the better of the (pretty decent) winger after that.

Paul was on fire again, so his goals a large part of why we won, but we did not have it all our own way and Ollie up front for them a real handful in particular, they struck the woodwork a couple of times, fluffed a few good chances and also drew some fine saves from Tyson.

2-0 up at half time, with a brace from Paul, they got one back in the second half with a nice finish into the bottom corner from Ollie. Xoul managed to screw horribly wide after being setup by Paul, but then Paul fed Tom who finished smartly with his left into the right side netting, 3-1. Paul got a lob, Ollie got a backheel from a cross by Josh, before Paul rounded off his 4 goal haul and it ended 5-2.

When the hockey crew arrived I was delighted the match ended and we could get some refreshments!
