Ale Ale Ale Oh

<p>Short report this week as its already a week since we played this game and my memory is fading fast.

<p>BOC needed two ringers to complete the 11 with regulars Punnah and Morrissey living it up at the Fosters Christmas party. Thakfully, occasional Fosters players Alessandro and Michael were available and both played a blinder. Alessandro nabbing MOM for his two goal / one assist performance, although this may have easily gone to Nick who laid on two and also got the opener.

<p>Tyson in nets, back line of Neil Z, Stu, Michael ringer and Charlie. MF of Ben, Phil, Alessandro and Sheedy with Ilyas and Nick up top. We actually started 3 5 2 which went well initially and then started to cause us problems hence reverting to 4 4 2. The opening goal came from Nick after nice team play (more than 3 consecutive passes) found Ale on the right who squared first time for Nick to tap in at the back post. Ale's first goal was a screamer with Neil Z looping a header sideways across goal for Ale to control on the chest before swivelling in one movement to scissor kick into the left top corner. Wowee. Absolute tekkers. Ben Hoff got the third, cracking a first time shot over the keeper from distance, great finish. Phil wasn't sure if he meant it, ahem. Ilyas got the 4th lobbing the keeper first time after charging onto Nick's touch, again, great finish. Final goal from Alessandro prodding in from close range after their keeper spilled a stinging shot.

<p>Good to see BBZ convalescing in the pub with a medicinal pint of Meantime, hopefully see you back playing in the new year Rich.
