<p>Back to winning ways for out of form AFC Titans this Easter Weekend.
<p>A high flying Great Horton FC , fresh from there Cup Semi Final defeat last week , where the opponents at Apperley Bridge.
<p>Nothing taken for granted as The Home side looked to get back to winning ways in Division 2A after some disappointing results the last few fixtures.
<p>Titans started well putting Horton on the back foot. Some nice interchange of passes between the Midfield and forward line as The Titans reverted to a 4-4-2 formation. Steadfast at the back The Blues defense soaked up any pressure from Horton.
<p>25 Mins in and a jinx run from Liam Price into The opponents box drew the inevitable challenge from The Great Horton defender and a penalty ensued.
<p>League top scorer Mick Dougan stepped up to give The Titans an early lead.
<p>Shortly after Great Horton stepped up a gear and pressured The Home side as they became a little complacent with the lead. The equalizer came just 5 minutes later on 30 mins.
<p>Not to be out done , again some nice inter play from The Blues put Liam Price in down the wing as his crossed skimmed across the Horton box , Great Horton Captain failed to clear and and Mick Dougan netted from close range to make it 2-1 and set up a nail biting 2nd Half.
<p class="MsoNormal">The 2nd 45 was pretty much even with both keepers pulling off some good saves. Sam `Bam Bam` Thornton having an inspired game in goals for The Titans.
<p class="MsoNormal">No score in the second half as AFC Titans held on for the vital 3 points to keep them in contention for a top 5 finish.
