The Yate Leisure Centre amateur football league is a competitive league for adult footballers in the Yate area. The league was founded in 1995 and currently has 12 teams competing in two divisions.
The league is affiliated to the Gloucestershire County FA and follows their rules and regulations. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
The league is well-organized and run by a dedicated committee. The facilities at the Yate Leisure Centre are excellent, with two full-size pitches and a floodlit 3G pitch.
The league is a great way to get involved in football and meet new people. If you are interested in joining, please contact the league secretary at yateleisurecentre@gmail.com.
