Introduction

The Wolverhampton Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Wolverhampton, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 clubs competing in its four divisions.

The league is affiliated to the Staffordshire County FA and is recognized by the FA as an official Sunday league.

The league's headquarters are located at the Molineux Stadium, home of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC.

Divisions

  • Division One
  • Division Two
  • Division Three
  • Division Four

The league's four divisions are divided into two groups each, with each group playing each other team once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs, with the winners of the playoffs being promoted to the next higher division.

  • Ken Pemberton Cup
  • Mac Webb Cup
  • Terry Shierton Cup

The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Charity Cup, the Ken Pemberton Cup, the Mac Webb Cup, and the Terry Shierton Cup. These cups are open to all clubs in the league and are played in a knockout format.
