WFA National League

The WFA National League is the top division of the Wheelchair Football Association's (WFA) national league system for men and women in England.

The league was founded in 2006 and is currently sponsored by PTC Therapeutics. It is contested by 24 teams, divided into two divisions: the Premiership and the Championship.

The Premiership

The Premiership is the top division of the WFA National League. It is contested by 12 teams, who play each other home and away over the course of the season. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the FA Women's National League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Championship.

The Championship

The Championship is the second division of the WFA National League. It is contested by 12 teams, who play each other home and away over the course of the season. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Premiership, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Regional Leagues.

• Most successful team: AFC Bournemouth Warriors (2 titles)

Regional Leagues

The WFA National League also operates a number of regional leagues, which are contested by teams from different parts of England. The regional leagues feed into the Championship, with the top teams from each league being promoted at the end of the season.
