West of Scotland Football League

The West of Scotland Football League (WoSFL) is an association of 80 clubs and are part of the Scottish Football Pyramid. They operate within that system at Tier 6 through to Tier 10. and consist of Premier Division, First Division, Second Division, Third Division and Fourth Division.

History

The WoSFL was founded in 2020, as part of a long process to form an integrated footballing pyramid structure in Scotland. All 63 West Region Junior clubs decided to depart and join the newly founded league, which is a feeder to the Lowland League.

The league's first season was played in 2020-21, with 12 teams competing in the Premier Division. The current champions are Pollok, who won their first title in the 2022-23 season.

Structure

The WoSFL is divided into five divisions: Premier Division, First Division, Second Division, Third Division and Fourth Division. The top two teams in each division are promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

The league also has a cup competition, the Strathclyde Demolition Cup, which is open to all clubs in the league.
