Welsh Premier Academy League

The Welsh Premier Academy League is a football league for the youth academies of clubs in the Cymru Premier League. It was founded in 2012 and is currently sponsored by the FAW Trust.

Divisions

The league is divided into two divisions, the North and the South. Each division consists of 12 teams, with each team playing each other twice, once home and once away.

Promotion and relegation

The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the previous division.

Current season

The current season is the 2022-23 season. The North division is currently being led by The New Saints, while the South division is currently being led by Aberystwyth Town.
