About WATERBERG MASTERS SOCCER LEAGUE

Waterberg Masters Soccer League

The Waterberg Masters Soccer League is an amateur football league for players over the age of 35. It is based in the Waterberg District of Limpopo Province, South Africa.

History

The league was founded in 2005 by a group of former professional footballers who wanted to continue playing the game after they retired. The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 20 teams.

Competitions

The league has two competitions: the Premier Division and the First Division. The Premier Division is the top flight of the league and is contested by the best teams. The First Division is the second tier of the league and is contested by the teams that did not qualify for the Premier Division.

The league also has a knockout competition called the Waterberg Masters Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league and is played in a single-elimination format.
