The York Mitchell Sports Football League (YMSFL) is an amateur football league in York, England. It was founded in 1971 and currently has over 200 teams playing in its leagues. The YMSFL is affiliated to the North Riding Football Association (NRFA).
The YMSFL has a pyramid structure with four divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The top four teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the NRFA League, while the bottom four teams are relegated to Division One. The bottom four teams in Division One are relegated to Division Two, while the top four teams in Division Two are promoted to Division One. The bottom four teams in Division Three are relegated to a reserve league.
There are over 200 teams in the YMSFL, representing a wide range of clubs and communities in York. Some of the most successful teams in the league's history include Fulford United, Poppleton Juniors, and Haxby Town.
