Introduction

The Telford Combination is an amateur football league based in Telford, Shropshire, England. It was founded in 1971 and currently has two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One.

The league is affiliated to the Shropshire County Football Association and is a feeder league to the West Midlands (Regional) League.

History

The Telford Combination was founded in 1971 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The inaugural season featured 12 teams, all of which were based in Telford.

The league has grown steadily over the years and currently has 20 teams in two divisions. The Premier Division is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the league. Division One is the second division and is contested by the remaining teams.

Current Season

The current season is the 2022-2023 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by AFC Wrekin, while Shifnal Town FC Imperials are top of Division One.

The season is scheduled to end in May 2023. The champions of each division will be promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams in each division will be relegated.
