Östra Östergötland Amateur Football League

The Östra Östergötland Amateur Football League (ÖOFAFL) is an amateur football league in the Östergötland region of Sweden. It was founded in 1948 and currently has 40 member clubs. The league is divided into four divisions, with the top division being the Division 1 Östra Östergötland.

History

The ÖOFAFL was founded in 1948 by a group of amateur football clubs in the Östergötland region. The league originally had only two divisions, but it has since expanded to four divisions. The league has also changed its name several times over the years. It was originally called the Östra Östergötlands Fotbollförbund, but it was renamed the Östra Östergötland Amateur Football League in 1997.

Divisions

The ÖOFAFL is divided into four divisions:

Division 1 Östra Östergötland
Division 2 Östra Östergötland
Division 3 Östra Östergötland
Division 4 Östra Östergötland

The top division, the Division 1 Östra Östergötland, is played by 12 teams. The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Division 4 Norra Östergötland, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Division 2 Östra Östergötland.
