South East Powerchair Football League

The South East Powerchair Football League (SEPFL) is an amateur football league for people with powerchairs. It is the second-largest regional league in the country, with around 70 players in 14 teams across the South East of England.

History

The SEPFL was founded in 2013 by a group of people who wanted to create a more accessible and inclusive form of football for people with disabilities. The league has since grown to become one of the most successful powerchair football leagues in the country.

Teams

The SEPFL currently has 14 teams, all of which are based in the South East of England. The teams are:

Format

The SEPFL season runs from September to May. The teams play each other once in a round-robin format, with the top two teams at the end of the season qualifying for the playoffs. The playoffs are held in May, and the winner of the playoffs is crowned the SEPFL champion.

National League

The top finishing team in the SEPFL, not already competing in the WFA national league, has the opportunity to go forward to the national league playoffs. The national league is the highest level of powerchair football in the country.
