About Regional Womens League
Regional Women's League
The Regional Women's League is a set of eight amateur football leagues in England that form the fifth and sixth tiers of the English women's football pyramid.
The leagues are:
- North East Regional Women's Football League
- East Midlands Regional Women's Football League
- West Midlands Regional Women's Football League
- London and South East Regional Women's Football League
- South West Regional Women's Football League
- Southern Regional Women's Football League
- North West Regional Women's Football League
The leagues are affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and provide a pathway for women's football clubs to progress to the FA Women's National League, the fourth tier of the English women's football pyramid.
The Regional Women's Leagues are divided into divisions, with each division containing a varying number of teams. The top teams in each division are promoted to the division above, while the bottom teams are relegated to the division below.
The Regional Women's Leagues are a great opportunity for women's football clubs to play competitive football at a level that is suited to their abilities. The leagues also provide a pathway for players to progress to higher levels of the game.
