The RDSL (Rugby Development Society League) is an amateur football league in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1999 with the goal of providing a fun and competitive environment for players of all levels. The RDSL currently has over 100 teams competing in divisions across England, Scotland, and Wales.
If you are interested in joining the RDSL, you can find more information on the RDSL website. You will need to create an account and pay a registration fee. Once you have registered, you can search for a team in your area.
The RDSL follows the rules of rugby union. However, there are a few modifications to the rules to make the game more accessible to players of all levels. For example, the RDSL uses a smaller ball and a shorter field than traditional rugby union.
The RDSL season runs from September to April. Each team plays 10-12 matches during the season. The top teams at the end of the season qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs culminate in the RDSL Grand Final, which is held in May.
