RAF Astra League

RAF Astra League

The RAF Astra League is an amateur football league for members of the Royal Air Force. It was launched in 2023 and is currently in its second season.

Format

The league is divided into two divisions, the Astra League and the Astra Challenge Cup. The Astra League is a 10-team league, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams at the end of the season qualify for the Astra Challenge Cup final.

The Astra Challenge Cup is a knockout competition, with the teams from the Astra League joined by teams from the RAF's other football leagues. The final of the Astra Challenge Cup is held at a neutral venue.

Winners

The winners of the inaugural RAF Astra League were the RAF Regiment First. They defeated RAF TG4 Sparks FC in the final.
