Paisley & District Amateur Football League

The Paisley & District Amateur Football League (PDA) is a football league competition for amateur clubs in the Paisley area of Scotland. The association was founded in 1920 and is affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association. It is composed of three divisions, with a total of 28 teams.

History

The PDA was founded in 1920 by a group of amateur football enthusiasts in the Paisley area. The original league consisted of just four teams, but it has since grown to include 28 teams competing in three divisions.

The PDA has been home to some of the most successful amateur football clubs in Scotland, including Johnstone Burgh, who won the Scottish Amateur Cup in 1962 and 1963.

Current Season

The current season of the PDA is the 2023-2024 season. The top division is currently led by Johnstone Burgh, with Gleniffer Thistle and Paisley AFC in second and third place respectively.

The bottom two teams in each division will be relegated at the end of the season, and the top two teams in each division will be promoted.
