North East Hants Youth League

The North East Hants Youth League (NEHYL) is an amateur football league for youth teams in Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Surrey. It is a Charter Standard League sanctioned by the Hampshire FA.

History

The NEHYL was founded in 1972. The league originally consisted of just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups.

Structure

The NEHYL is divided into three divisions: the Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. The Premier Division is the top division, and the teams in this division play each other twice in a season. The teams in Divisions One and Two play each other once in a season.

The league also has a number of cup competitions, including the NEHYL Cup, the NEHYL Challenge Cup, and the NEHYL Trophy.

Recent Results

  • In the 2022-2023 season, the Premier Division was won by Aldershot B&G Reds.
  • Division One was won by Farnham Town Wolves.
  • Division Two was won by Fleet Town Adders.
