The North East Cheshire District FA Challenge Cups are a set of cup competitions for amateur football clubs in the north east of Cheshire, England.

History

The cups were founded in 2020 following a merger of three former district FAs: Stockport, Macclesfield and Stalybridge & Hyde District FAs.

The cups are open to all affiliated clubs in the North East Cheshire District FA. There are three cups: the Open Cup, the Senior Cup and the Sunday Cup.

Competition Format

The Open Cup is open to all affiliated clubs in the North East Cheshire District FA. It is a knockout competition, with each round played over two legs.

The Senior Cup is open to clubs in the North East Cheshire District FA that play in the Premier Division or Division One of the Cheshire County League. It is a knockout competition, with each round played over two legs.

The Sunday Cup is open to clubs in the North East Cheshire District FA that play in the Sunday League. It is a knockout competition, with each round played over one leg.
