About North Bridge League

Introduction

The North Bridge League is an amateur football league in Northern England and North Wales. It was formed in 2006 and is divided into three divisions: A, B, and C. The A Division is for the county's best players, the B Division is for the county's next best players, whilst the C Division is aimed at club players. There are four all-play-all events each year, held on Saturdays in the Summer months.

The league is affiliated to the Manchester County Bridge Association.

History

The North Bridge League was formed in 2006 by a group of bridge enthusiasts from Northern England and North Wales. The league was originally intended to be a way for players from these two regions to compete against each other. However, the league has since grown in popularity and now attracts players from all over the country.

Divisions

The North Bridge League is divided into three divisions: A, B, and C. The A Division is for the county's best players, the B Division is for the county's next best players, whilst the C Division is aimed at club players.

  • The A Division has 12 teams.
  • The B Division has 10 teams.
  • The C Division has 8 teams.

Events

There are four all-play-all events each year, held on Saturdays in the Summer months. The events are played at various venues in Northern England and North Wales.
