Introduction

The LCSYFL (Lake Country Soccer Youth Football League) is an amateur football league for children in the Lake Country area of Wisconsin. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 500 players.

The LCSYFL offers a variety of divisions for players of all ages and skill levels, including:

  • Flag football (ages 4-6)
  • Touch football (ages 7-9)
  • Tackle football (ages 10-12)
  • Junior varsity football (ages 13-14)
  • Varsity football (ages 15-18)

The LCSYFL season runs from August to November. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays at various fields in the Lake Country area.

History

The LCSYFL was founded in 1972 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their children with the opportunity to play football. The league started with just a few teams and has grown steadily over the years.

In 1990, the LCSYFL added a flag football division for younger players. In 2000, the league added a touch football division. And in 2010, the league added a junior varsity football division.

The LCSYFL is committed to providing a safe and fun environment for all players. The league has a strict policy against hazing and bullying.
