Intermediate Two

The Intermediate Two is an amateur football league in Scotland. It is the third tier of the Scottish Football League, below the Scottish Professional Football League and the Highland League.

The league was formed in 1900 as the Scottish Football Alliance. It was renamed the Intermediate League in 1921, and the Intermediate Two in 1975.

The league currently consists of 16 teams. The teams are divided into two groups, with each team playing each other team in their group once. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Scottish Professional Football League League Two, and the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Highland League.
