Huddersfield and District Association Football League

The Huddersfield and District Association Football League is an amateur football league based in the area of Huddersfield, England. It was founded in 1898 and currently has a total of four senior divisions and four reserve divisions.

History

The Huddersfield and District Association Football League was founded in 1898 by a group of local football clubs. The league initially had just two divisions, but this was expanded to four divisions in 1902. The league has remained at four divisions ever since.

The league has produced a number of professional footballers over the years, including Tommy Lawton, who played for England and won the FA Cup with Chelsea in 1954.

Current Season

The current season of the Huddersfield and District Association Football League began in August 2023. The top division is the Premier Division, which is currently being led by AFC Lindley. The other divisions are the First Division, the Second Division, the Third Division, and the Reserve Division One.
