Girls’ football from youth to open age

The league’s stated provision begins at age six and runs through the junior age groups to Under-18 football. Alongside its youth competition, it also includes Women’s Beginners Football at open age. This gives the organisation a distinct focus on girls’ football while also providing an entry point for adult beginners.

Its junior cup and shield competitions cover Under-9 to Under-18 age groups, complementing the league programme. The youngest players are also recognised through dedicated Under-7 and Under-8 events, rather than treating the league solely as an older-age-group competition.

Harrogate, Craven and Yorkshire

The competition is based around Harrogate and Craven, with teams from the wider Yorkshire area. It is a relevant league for girls’ sides looking for regular organised football in this part of North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire.
