The Halifax Sunday League is an amateur football league in the Calder Valley area of West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently has over 100 teams competing in 10 divisions.
The league is affiliated to the West Riding County FA and is a member of the Northern Counties East Football League.
The league's headquarters are at the Calderdale College 3G stadium in Halifax.
The Halifax Sunday League was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just four divisions, but this has since expanded to 10 divisions.
The league has been won by a number of well-known teams over the years, including Halifax Town Reserves, Brighouse Town Reserves, and Elland Town Reserves.
The current champions are Feathers FC, who won the Premier Division in 2022-23.
The 2023-24 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is being led by Halifax United FC, followed by Feathers FC and Ryburn Valley FC.
